Worcester man faces child porn charge
WORCESTER — A Worcester man is facing charges for allegedly having pornographic movies involving children delivered to his home.
Thomas Crowley was ordered held on $15,000 bail after pleading not guilty to a charge of possession of child pornography at his arraignment on Tuesday.
Police tell The Worcester Telegram & Gazette that the investigation began in September when authorities learned Crowley paid $120 for pornographic movies depicting children ordered over the Internet.
He was arrested Saturday at his apartment after signing for a package of DVDs delivered by an agent for the U.S. Postal Inspection Service. His home was searched and the DVDs confiscated.
